Steadfast!

Steadfast and sure!

You’ve got a good pace going. You’re closing in on the letter Z. And you’re one step closer to success.

So no slacking now. No shuffling of feet. And no sobbing either. There’s no crying in blogging!

Oh wait, that’s baseball…

  3. Karen, I was just coming over here to ask if anyone was having trouble w/ their posts auto publishing. All of mine are scheduled for 7 am every morning and they are not publishing. I have tried sending feedback to blogger about it to no avail. I'm very frustrated w/ the new format.

  4. I haven't cried yet - however I woke up yesterday devoid of energy; that had me a little worried.

Took me a while to recover. Once my subconscious knew that I wasn't going to give up- it came forth with a creative poem- Rebound!

I'm always up for the challenge!

  5. I think I am busy painting - er, writing - myself into a corner, with slow-drying paint - er, writing.

  6. I think for blogging it's whining -- There's no whining in blogging.

I look at this way, I have two days to get a head start on <3500 words.

  7. All my posts were scheduled to kick-in at one minute past midnight, UK time.

Good old Blogger decided to use last night as it's opportunity to change to the new interface - thus my post didn't.....post.

It seems that you need to go into your setting and alter the time zone to your 'local' time because the 'boffins' at Blogger appear to have reset the default to 'Pacific Time'!
Someone really should have a word in their 'shell-likes' and inform them that there is in fact a world outside the US borders!

Anyway - I've changed my time zone and rescheduled tomorrow's post to go 'live' at five minutes past midnight - let's see if it works, shall we!

Another little 'anomaly' is that yesterday afternoon I discovered that the 'sites visited' counter, located with the Nav. Buttons, had reset to '0'! I contacted Marcus (designer) and he gave me some reasons why it might have happened.

However, this morning the counter registered '6' (it was way more than that last night!)

So, after visiting a few more sites today, the number was back up into the thirties.

Just logged on about an hour ago and the counter now says '6'!!

    I give up!

Well, I give up counting, anyway - still more sites to go see! ;-)

SueH I refuse to go quietly!

  9. I've been using the new interface since last year, but my last few pre-scheduled posts have failed to post. Need to check the time zone.

  10. I have had my entire challenge done and dusted since early in the year, I had trouble this morning as they changed the inter face but I changed back again until the challenge is over.

  12. Absolutely, down to the "I think I can I think I can I think I can" days. Since I am writing about women writers (and using given names rather than surnames) it has been interesting finding some of these end of the alphabet names. X for example, difficult but thank goodness for women named Xochitl. For those not in the know - it is pronounced "Zo - Shee"

    I know I can, I know I can, I know I can, I know I can....

  13. Have been having a terrible time with the scheduling on the new blogger. Grrrr. Have to double check all the time. However, I shall overcome and do it without slobbering or shuffling my feet. Yes, I will.

  15. I haven't cried yet, not about the Challenge yet anyway. One thing I have learned from this experience is how to schedule posts. Haven't had problems yet, but the frequency of scheduling use is to increase for me shortly on this home stretch. Why are the toughest letters all at the end?

  16. No crying in blogging. Nice. No crying here yet but man some of these letters are getting a little rough!

  18. No sobbing, but definitely sleep-deprived. I hate to read about all the blogger problems. I haven't encountered them yet, but the new format just appeared yesterday. This has been a blast!!

  19. Steadfast is a good word. It's not used all that much anymore. I like steadfast. It's a very solid word.

  20. You know. I like how you are rooting us on. It reminds me of those five mile walks when the workers of the walk tell you that you only have a few meters left. I love the challenge because I stopped writing everyday which is not good for a writer. This keeps me moving forward. Thanks.

  21. Steadfast is the name of the game right about now. We're at a defining moment where many will keep going to Z...I'm grateful to not have lost steam in the last few days, myself!

I had such a long day earlier this week that I totally forgot to make my A to Z blog visits for that day....good thing I remembered in enough time to get them all in before midnight, lol.

I don't know much about baseball but anything...even crying, may be better than the luck that the Philadelphia Flyers games have been having lately. I'm no hockey fan, but they seem to be doing more fist fights than anything else....to violent, so I'll take a crying baseball player or sobbing team any day of the week, lol.

  24. Blogger is still letting me switch to the old interface on the dashboard settings, I don't know how long that will last! New Blogger sucks it.

  25. Sometimes it's hard sticking to my theme, but since my theme is Sh*t I Say, and I say a lot of sh*t, I have been able to pull it off so far!
