Alphabet Soup - Silver Screen Staples

This word puzzle is brought to you by Nicole at The Madlab Post...

It’s time for Alphabet Soup - The Word Scramble Puzzle of A to Z Wizards!

Since Sheila Siler who blogs at Sheila Scribbles won the title of "Alphabet Wizard" during the previous Alphabet Soup puzzle, we’re focusing on the Letter S today. The name of her blog also has me thinking about writing -- particularly screenplays, now that I’ve completed a draft of a short film that I’m working on this Summer. Today, S is for Silver Screen.

Unscramble the following Silver Screen related titles, credits and terms. The first commenter who is able to correctly unscramble all or most of these screen credits at best wins this weeks’ Alphabet Soup game. Answers and the name of the winner will be posted here at the A to Z blog during next week’s “Friday Fun Time - Alphabet Remix.”

  1. I figured about half of them. I'll think more on it and if no one guesses maybe I'll try later to come up with all of them.

Today my daughter and her husband and taking us to the Blue Bell Ice Cream factory somewhere northwest of Houston. I'm sure it will be a hot day so we'll be needing some ice cream by the time we get there.

  2. Ok, I got 1 right away (the shortest one). The rest: I think I need to try this in the morning. It's almost bedtime for me.

I'm stumped. I think I need a pen and paper to do this.

  6. I couldn't figure them out, I have new glasses and I am sure they are not as strong as they should be,

    Have a great week-end.

  7. Thanks Lee.
I wouldn't say brilliant *blush*. I just used a strategy my mom taught me to move around and separate the letters:)

  8. Arlee,

I hope your ice cream was delicious. The weather is surely great for it! Figuring out fifty percent of them is half the battle onto becoming the next Alphabet Wizard. It looks like you're off to a great start!

    Marta,

I like the sounds of that...scrambled words in the morning for breakfast beats scrambled eggs anytime! LOL

    Arlee,

I think maybe the time zone differences probably play a part in people not trying this week's game out but you're leading a great example by giving it a go. Cheers to you for that :)

    Marta,

There's nothing like lingering S's in trying to figure out a game, to keep you up at night or morning...thanks for playing and I hope you were able to get caught up on your sleep :)

    Arlee,

As the saying goes...great minds think alike. Maybe you gave Marta the edge she needed to keep on going and try to figure out what those words were all about!

    Yvonne,

Sounds like you need to exchange those new lenses for another pair, huh? Either way, I hope it works out for what you need them for...reading, driving, or something else, etc.

    Marta,

Your mother's strategies may be your secret sauce to becoming the next alphabet wizard. If she has strategies for other games or everyday tasks and social situations in general, feel free to share them, of course...I need all of the strategies that I can use for nagivating this oh-so unpredictable thing we call life :)
