It's October and I am in a A to Z Challenge PANIC!!

Hail to the King, Baby!
Yes, we behind the scenes of have been [A to Z Team] working on our plans for the "A to Z Challenge 2013" and it makes me wonder what the heck I am going to do for 26 Letters... in 26 Days. There are many things going on in my life as I am sure you all have something happening... I want you all you start you game plan, is there going to be a theme... or are you going to wing it?

-So how do you prepare for something that is so far away and yet.. so close?
-What will inspire you, how do you know?
-Who is thinking about it, right now?
-Are you thinking about right now, cause I brought it up?

Good I am glad I am not the only one, see it is a little early to start the panic.. but at least you are thinking about it...

In the meantime can I recommend a few things:
Retro-Zombie's: 500 Followers "Giveaway"
                            Spray Blood "Giveaway" [Ends Today]
Dave Wrote This "The Nineties Blogfest" [Oct 15th]
Ciara and Alex's "Did I Notice Your Book Blogfest" [Oct 17th]

Yeah, I know it feels like a set up, doesn't it... it really is not. I am truly in panic to think of what I am going to post this coming April. Do you have something that will help keep your mind occupied until then or are some really cool people thinking they are ready? See I didn't even mention my "NEATORAMA'S T-SHIRT" store, wait I just did... sorry I could not help myself.

I even put a photo of my cat "Gizmo" she is real relaxed...
alas she doesn't have to think about the challenge!

  1. Don't be in a panic yet! If it's March 1 and you still have no idea what to write, then you can start worrying. But I wouldn't start panicking until March 31 if you still had no clue!

I start thinking about A to Z around January. That's usually when I begin brainstorming my posts. I haven't done a theme yet, but I think I may try one this year!

  5. Already picked my theme, and wrote down 26 post ideas. Now I need to assign them letters...but I think I can make any of them any letter, with a little creativity.
I'm joining those two blog fests, and saving money for a Zombie t-shirt...

  7. I've already changed my mind about topics a few times. I guess when I come up with something definitive I'll start writing some posts. For now I'm not thinking about it too much.

  10. Not in a panic but definitely thinking about it - I prefer random so I get to jump all over the place - I have started entering topics on my April 2013 iphone calendar -- I have the letters in for each day and toss ideas as they come to me. Can't wait! besides, that means we will be closer to summer and done with winter.

  12. I can't wait until A to Z 2013. And honestly, I don't pre-plan my blog posts. I'm way too busy for that. I usually write a post the day before and then post it at midnight to be sure to catch the early bird readers of the next day. I survived A to Z 2012, and I'll survive A to Z 2013. Keep it simple. Don't complicate your life. :-)

  16. Last year, I jumped right into it without any plan. Did fine until about the last third, and then I got really burned out and had to stop. This year -- in October -- I decided to start prepping for the posts early. I'm doing one post a week in addition to what I'm already doing and setting them up as scheduled posts. I also am in a better place to do a theme than I was last year -- it's action-adventure.

  17. You'd think I'd know better. I pantsed through two years of A to Z, and co-hosted it with you last year.

I'm pretty certain I'll find myself scrambling for a theme come March, and have only 1 post written by April 1.

  18. Hi Jeremy .. I worked out what I was going to do back in April ... so I know where to dive to .. to set about the A - Z posts .. I'll probably do some after Christmas ..

Looks like Gizmo may need to think about the A - Z .. if you get right stuck in that mud .. she looks one smart cat and could cope admirably!

    Cheers Hilary

  19. Surely it's months and months away isn't it? Do I need to start thinking? So far, I haven't got a clue, not even the tiniest hint of an idea. I wonder if I could just wing it next year ;-)
