Hitting the Road with Mario

We're all up against the clock these days. Being connected online does not save us time; it absorbs it like a sponge. Yet we're here, so how can we best meet our Challenges online as well as in other parts of our lives?

I've devised a plan for my start on the AtoZ Challenge Road Trip.

First I've got a great blogger to share the load. She's efficient and she's dependable, and I greatly appreciate her inviting me to join her on this year's trip. Wave to Madlab Post on your way by.

Next I've convinced Mario the Muse to be my dashboard buddy. He's there to guide and inspire and keep me awake on the those long stretches.

As I start off, my plan is visit at least 2-3 bloggers each day who are on the road with me.

I'm starting with any blogs beginning with the letter A and moving ahead through the alphabet. If there's no X, so be it, but I'll look for a blog with that letter.

So bye for now. I'm off to visit A blogs. Hope to see you as I make my way through those 26 letters.

Do you have a plan? Is is just easier for you to wing it?

  1. I've been picking at the list and have found a few interesting bloggers. Will have to do a post highlighting them eventually.

  3. I've been visiting numerically; will do some from top of list and then another day from bottom of list. Some days no blogs, but enjoying the time on this road trip :)

  6. Great plan. I'm moving out today and have plan to start at the bottom and hit 2 blogs a day because I'm trying to hit blogs also in the IWSG. So, I'll see you around. Maybe, we'll meet up in the middle.

  9. I like your plan. I've just been returning road tripper visits and I went to a couple blogs that sounded interesting, I guess I need to pull out the map and actually set a course for my trip :)

  10. I like your plan. I'm starting at the top and working my way down. The goal is to visit as many blogs as it takes for me to find three that I want to comment on.

  11. What a clever plan for the Road Trip! It's going to take you up, around and through so many different places. The plan reminds me of the variety that visitors at an amusement park would have. Also your dashboard buddy is so cute...great to have Mario along for the ride :)

  13. Great plan! I don't have any sort of road plan; I suppose I'm more of a toss a dart and go where it lands AtoZ Road Tripper. I look at the "map," find a "place" that catches my eye, and put my "car" in drive!

    1. Shifting into drive is definitely a good place to start.

  14. I'm keeping my road trip to a slow, leisurely pace of five blogs per week. I started out visiting where I had left off at the end of the A to Z, but then decided to skip down and start at 1000 and work my way down. Not sure what direction I'll head in once I reach the end of that road.

    1. I don't think I'll ever reach the end on this. That Linky keeps growing and growing.

  15. Hi Lee - that's a great idea starting at A and working through ... I guess I'd go via numbers and at least then I'd remember where I'd got to in the list ... I started one year with Tina and then flunked out ...

I am taking time away from blogging to get on with lots of things - but will be back in the Autumn .. enjoy your road trip and the summer ... you could make a Pond Pudding .. that'd calm you down ...??!! Cheers for now - Hilary

PS I'd love lists of bloggers feel who are interesting, stimulating and worth connecting with ... cheers again!!
