#atozchallenge -- Starts with X!

Some of my favorite things start with X!
Like what?
The X-Files

Last year, all 26 posts for my A to Z theme were about my love of the show, the characters/actors, and my X-Files memorabilia.

The X-Men

Some of the movies don't have the best scripts, but they are, as my son says, Made of Action.

And, I do love me some Wolverine.

The XBox

My husband and I have played video games together our whole relationship. Granted, we mostly play Lego XBox games with our son now, but it's still fun.

What else?
The letter X starts with X!
X is the 24th letter of the alphabet, which means ... we are almost done with the Challenge!

In case no one has said it yet ...

  2. Wow, only two more to go. Even though by the end, you know X,Y,Z the difficult ones, I was kind of at a loss for a topic, I'm gonna miss the A-Z.

  9. Great post! I've both enjoyed this challenge and hated it! It has been really good for me to attempt some kind of discipline (but ouch! It really hurts sometimes!)

  11. Good one for the letter x. Never thought to use two shows my husband loves and I can't stand. LOL

  12. Congrats on finding actual words beginning with X. I 'cheated' and used a word with x in it.
I liked the first 3 X-men movies, haven't seen the more modern ones. I was never an X-files fan, though I would love to find the episode in which Richard Belzer guest-starred.

    1. Not cheating! It's all good.
      :)

Richard Belzer played Detective John Munch in The X-Files: "Unusual Suspects" in a crossover with Homicide: Life on the Street.

He has played Munch on eight other series: Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, The Beat, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, Arrested Development, The Wire, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and 30 Rock.

Consequently, he is the only actor in television history to play the same character in ten different series.

  18. I have only ever watched the X Files once, and I am sure it is great, but it is just not my thing. I rarely sit down to watch movies these days, but when I do, I usually prefer a comedy from back in the day, or a classic film from the 40s.

  22. I love love love X-Men. I stopped watching X-Files early after a spontaneous combustion episode. Scared me to death.
