5.9% of the blogs this year were listed as ADULT.
Continuous story? 8 bloggers said yes!
No one needed people to "vote" to make the next post. Choose-your-blogging-adventure has perhaps ended?

#atozchallenge Forms response chart. Question title: Author's Pronouns.
15.7% of the bloggers this year were new! WELCOME!
119 of you shared your Twitter handle, 86 shared a Facebook link, and 86 shared their Instagram. 💻

The biggest problem the team ran into was when bloggers didn't realize the Theme Reveal and the Master List for the main challenge were TWO separate events with separate sign-ups. We will work on making that clearer next year. Sorry for the confusion.

Do any of you from the challenge feature gifts or cards for the winter holidays?
Any challenge winners interested in writing an alphabet worth of writetips?
If you pitch an idea for a guest post (June to February), be sure we know how to reach you! (Hitting up team captain @JLenniDorner on Twitter is recommended.)

  1. 😊 Hey, that's me in the Instagram chat image! 😁

  2. I wasn't really sure what the whole instagram thing was so maybe that could be explained a little better next time?

I have cards and gifts for the winter holidays on my website

Right now I am featuring Father's Day but the winter ones will be there too.

Looking forward to the road trip.

  3. Hi! I have cards and other things for the winter holidays (and all occasions) in my RedBubble shop: https://www.redbubble.com/people/first-draft/shop

This year was my 7th doing the challenge, and I love it!

  4. Based on the questions in the chat I did two things. I followed all bloggers who gave twitter id.

Second, I am trying to share every blog that participated in 2022 on Twitter.

  5. Oh I missed it! Can I still answer the questions in a post later? May is a very busy month for me.

  6. That's a cool set of statistics.
Though I was busy, I enjoyed publishing one post a day through April.
Thanks for the opportunity to read other blogs and get to know new bloggers.

  7. I would like to offer a guest post but I have just deactivated my Twitter account in the light of Elon Musk's takeover and seemingly irresponsible attitude to regulating hate speech - how can I get in touch - perhaps sharing a temporary email address?

  8. I didn't understand that the Theme reveal and The Main List were separate events until my second year and I don't really see why they need to be. Why not open the Main List on Theme Reveal Day and have a link to people's Theme Reveal Post and then announce the A2Z as open on the 1st April - it seems an extra faff to have to sign up twice...

  9. They are two separate events. Go through the Theme Reveal list, go to every blog on it now. What you'll discover is a drop-off rate. The closer to April 1 that we put sign-ups, the lower the drop-off rate, and the higher the happiness of blog hopping people.
That being said, the Theme Reveal comes earlier and gets the buzz generating. It gears up the crowd and increases interest. It also inspires people with ideas about what they could spend a month blogging about, alphabetically.
No one is required to do a theme reveal. We are always clear that it's optional. No blog is even required to have a theme. A for apple, b for books, c for pictures of cars, d for dog food recipes...

    To answer your other comment:
"Hitting up team captain @JLenniDorner on Twitter is recommended."
    Recommended isn't required.

The team's email has been listed for years. atozteam2018 @ gmail . com
It isn't checked as often as my personal Twitter, which I look at several times a week. Thus the recommendation. Musk wasn't mentioning his latest bored billionaire plans when this post was written. And no matter how awesome I am 😆 he doesn't take advice from me, or donate a few million my way, that bastard.
