#atozchallenge J Day

Just hang in there!

You've nearly reached the halfway point.  Soon you'll be on the downhill stretch to the end.  Don't give up because you can do this.  Nice and easy does it.  Keep your posts short, especially if you feel like you're struggling.  You don't have to write a thesis.  Use this post today as a model.

Breathe deep.  Sip some good coffee.  Enjoy some chocolate.

Just hang in there.  You're gonna make it.

Just in Time for J Day:

Michelle Jones at The Family Tales is offering a give-away at her blog.  Head over to her blog and you may be a lucky winner of a  a new customized blog design and/or custom header graphic.  The graphic design will be created by fellow A to Z blogger, Lisa Campbell.

  1. Thanks for the morale support Lee.
This year have been in pain doing this as my arhtitis in my arms and hands have reared it's ugly head . To day have had both shoulders injected so perhaps in a few days all will be well.

  2. Dear A-Z Team,

Thank you! You're doing an amazing job helping make things run smoothly by keeping everyone in the loop with up-to-date information, which is a huge undertaking.

This is my first year participating in the annual challenge, which I am really enjoying! However, I didn't make the list on time.

Thank you for letting me post my links here...

  5. Even with my busy schedule I've still been managing to fit this A to Z Challenge in!! :D

I found that J has been the hardest letter to do so far!!

    ReplyDelete
  6. Yesterday and today were difficult.

Yesterday, I chose "I" for Impasse

Today was a short post on Jamestown for "J".

I'm trying to keep the posts relevant to my blog, rather than just posting for its own sake.

  8. It's not as easy to count to Z as I thought. The challenge for me is keeping the blog pointed in the right-ish direction.

    Thanks for the encouragement.

  9. It is terrific fun doing this, I am writing my regular blog, but following the A to Z theme by posting a recipe which fits the letter of the day. Its wonderful having so many visitors to my blog and to visit all the new blogs I have been coming across. Great idea and I wish I had known about it before.

  12. Good advice, Lee. I figure I'll just take this one day at a time, get the visiting in that can in that day, and try not to stress about it. I'm hoping that our wonderful participants realize that we can't possibly respond to every single comment. (Hint, hint...) but that we SO value their time and commitment to making this April a huge success!

  13. This is my first A to Z, and I'm having a blast! Enjoying the posts here, too. I hope the hosts can hang on, you guys rock! I don't know how you do it and still get around to show love to all the blogs. Thank you.

  14. It is a wonderful offer - a new blog design. I won last year and was thrilled at the result.

  15. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm having so much fun with this challenge and it's my first one. I chose to title each of my posts with the name of a colour, yet the posts won't necessarily be about colour. Lots of room to explore and I think I like it.

  16. Love the poem, Arlee...good words to live by. My theme has been "Lessons from Life, Leaders and Literature. I have numerous insights and resources, which I want to share with my readers. Thanks for the support along the way!

  17. Thanks for the encouragement, Alex.
My plan to KISS worked well. Each of my posts is exactly 200 words. Having a theme also simplified the process of choosing topics for each day.

  20. Thank you to some of the hosts who have visited my bloggie to say hi during this A-Z Challenge! I'm still fine tuning my V and Y entries!

  21. Thanks for the pep talk. I traded coffee for water, tea and wine but did enjoy some chocolate earlier this week....in the form of fudge brownies. Yum!

Today marks the end of all of the letters that I wrote on in advance before the challenge, so I'll be needing a lot of green tea and black tea to get me through the remaining letters.

While I won't be winging it, thanks to having all of my outlines completed in advance, I no longer have the comfort of being able to just copy, paste, add photos and then hit the publish button. Boy, do I feel like I've been spoiled the last week or so, lol.

    Cheers!

  23. One of my favorite things about your blogging is that you always pass on the kudos to other bloggers.

This is inspiring and just plain neighborly of you (a dwindling trait these days).

    Kind thoughts.

  24. I joined this site earlier, but I had no idea that someone was going to be helping and inspiring the participants. Thanks for this and for visiting my blog.

  25. I struggled with the J post for sure. Next time I might just post some pictures. LOL

So glad I signed on for this. :)

  30. I struggled with I so did 'I is for Indecision' and was rescued by J, phew!

Really enjoying this and have been helped a lot by making unashamed use of the schedule facility. In fact I only have the letters O, R & Y left to do as everything else is posted or scheduled.

    Thanks for your encouragement!
