May The Force Be With You! #atozchallenge

It's official.  Today marks Day 13 of 26 for the A-Z Challenge.  We are half-way, and I would venture to guess that if you're still reading this, then you haven't given up, and are in this thing for the duration.

KUDOS to you!  It's not easy.  There's a lot to balance, a lot of blogs to visit, and (we hope) a lot of comments to return because you've been out there spreading The Force of your amazing participation!

So here's my advice for the day.  Use The Force, Luke.  Clear your mind of all distractions.  Focus on your objective.  Let The Force guide you.

Not a Star Wars fan?  That's OK.  We can still be friends.  What I'm talking about is letting the collective energy generated by thousands of bloggers still at this give you energy, and purpose, and stamina, and drive to see it through.  Don't try to go it alone.

If you're feeling like quitting, contact a blogging buddy, a co-host, a minion (boy do we love our minions!) and reach out for help.  Some of you remember Leia's plea, "Help me Obi-Wan, you're my only hope!" Send a distress signal to a friend.

You CAN do it.  You've made it this far.  It's not J any more, but I'm also quite fond of the movie "Finding Nemo", so even though it doesn't fit alphabetically here, I will also say, "Just keep swimming, just keep swimming."

One day at a time, one post at a time.  The Force, and this community, will be with you.

~Tina, fond of quoting movies, and ready to give you a pep talk if you need one.  See contact tab for my email.

  1. I find I really start to struggle about now on the A to Z, even if I do have all the post written, but it is a lovely sunny day so I will run about outside.

And I am less than half way through the list of participants, I was rather hoping to get to every blog before Z, I dont think I am going to make it now.

  6. As a recovering Catholic, every time I hear or see 'May the Force Be With You' I automatically want to say, 'And also with you'.....an old throwback to my Mass attending days.

  7. This is my first year trying the A to Z, so we'll see what kind of soldier I am in another couple weeks. I am enjoying it, though, despite my red eyes and slumped shoulders. :-)

  22. I'm enjoying the challenge but really appreciate these pep talks to push me forward. It would be a shame to quit as we're half way, so keeping nudging me." I think I can, I think I can, I think I can." Sigh! httt://www.writer-way.blogspot.com

  24. I'm finding that the biggest challenge is finding people's blogs, especially with so many comments taking you to people's Google Plus profiles. I can't find people's blogs in all the ones they've commented! I'm getting better at it--but there are some I haven't been able to comment back because I couldn't find their blogs on Google Plus!

    1. I'm having the same problem. I don't like it when my only choice is to use my g+ profile. I don't have the others. I like name/url when they offer it

    2. Conlee, I've started putting my blog URL unless the blog I'm commenting on is on Blogger (where mine is). At least they can find me the first time! I also turned off the feature in Google Plus where my comments on other blogs posted on my feed, and every day I link that day's blog to make sure it's at the top. There are some blogs I've wanted to comment but I simply couldn't figure out where their blog was on their Google Plus profile! Such a shame!

  25. I had no idea what to expect, as this is my first A to Z and it is quite a challenge to keep up! I have to admit that if I didn't have all my posts already written, it would be very tempting to drop out. But I won't! I will be so proud of myself for finishing, and so happy to have met so many new bloggers.
Thanks for the pep talk. :)

  32. It's a definitely a case of one step at a time and I hope I'm not asking for trouble when I say I can just about see the light at the end of the tunnel. (I'm writing this having just posted letter N). Also, and rather weirdly, I've even been thinking about what I might do for next year's challenge.
