Off Day Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is an "off day" in the Challenge. Remember, we take Sundays off from publishing A to Z Challenge posts. So tell me, what are your plans for tomorrow?

  • Write and schedule this week's Challenge posts. Many of us completed all our Challenge posts and scheduled them before April started, but many others are writing their posts while the Challenge is ongoing. You might want to use tomorrow to get a few posts written and scheduled.
  • Write and schedule this week's non-Challenge posts. Just because the A to Z Challenge is ongoing doesn't mean that all other blogging activity has to come to a halt. I have several features (Song of the Day, One Liner Wednesday etc.) that I'm continuing this month. How about you?
  • Catch up on your Challenge reading. We get so busy reading and replying to comments on our blogs that we might let our reading and commenting on other blogs fall behind. That's part of what Sunday's for. It's also what the Road Trip is all about. More on that later.
  • Something else (maybe nothing?) Spend time with your family! Watch a ballgame! Do some more work on that novel! Take the whole day off from blogging and the Challenge. It'll all be there on Monday.

Whatever you choose to do tomorrow, enjoy your day! We're past the halfway point. Only two more weeks to go!

  2. I have a post scheduled for Sunday for another challenge. For over a year I have been joining in with a poetry challenge, issued on Fridays by Linda Kruschke. She is also going through the alphabet and reached N on the same day A to Z did! https://anotherfearlessyear.net/2021/04/16/narrative-poetry-and-paint-chips/
I shall be worshipping on or offline and probably going for a walk.

  3. My day job has nobbled my primary challenge of completing a novel during April - however, I will keep writing it tomorrow and if I get, time, I might start on some of the blog posts for next week - but I confess, I quite enjoy pantsing it, as I did today at

  4. Yes, a good idea to get posts done in advanced but it also gives one "Something To Do Each Day" during these days of not much activity.

  5. I write for the next week's challenge posts. Working on the same day takes too much time.

  9. During the off-days, I give my eyes and brain a much needed rest. I even shut down my computer. Tomorrow I will attend church and then relax with my spouse for the rest of the day.

  12. I'm generally MIA in Blogosphere on the weekends. I try to get my catching up done through the week but am really slow this time around. I'll get there, though. Have an out-of-sight Saturday, folks!

  13. I will still write and post to my two blogs. One is poetry, and that "requires" a poem a day in April. The other is mostly gardening, and I there is always something going on, besides any regular Sunday blog hops.
I have more blogs to visit too!

  16. Thanks for the day off. I spent yesterday and today clearing out the summerhouse in the garden, which is where everything that would have gone in a spare room, garage or shed at my old house ended up when I moved in 13 months ago.
I can now get into the summerhouse and sit in the spare armchair in there, while drinking a coffee from a coffee table aka box of books. And if I can fit the small freezer in the house somewhere, it's ready and waiting by the door for me :)
Hope your weekend is as productive!
Oh, must write some of my book tonight.

  17. I'd love to be able to get ahead of myself with posts - only just posted todays and have only one scheduled post done. But tomorrow will be family time so I doubt I'll get much done in the way of blogging. Monday is definitely going to be a catch up day.

  18. I'll be trying to find more Scavenger Hunt topics - so far behind. My X and Z posts are written but still in draft mode so need to do a final edit and get those scheduled before I forget.
Also want to catch up on some reading and have a few book reviews to write and post.

  20. Off-day is a breather, much-needed break for a week-long of writing, reading, and sharing. Working on drafts for next week and Sunday is kids' time for me.
