B is for Beauty

 B is for Beauty

There is beauty in resilience, don't you think?

A rainbow appears over a field

Whenever I see a rainbow after a storm, I'm reminded of the resilience of nature. The beauty that is encapsulated in this simple act of nature makes me think of other beautiful and resilient things in nature. I always think of all the animals who had to literally weather the storm. There is beauty in imagining the emerging of the animals from their shelters as the storm lets up and the sun begins to shine again.

As we embark on Day 2 of our A to Z Challenge, let's all remember the beauty in our resilience as writers, as bloggers, as people.

Tell us about the beauty you find in resilience!

  5. At this time of year when spring teeters here, between the possibility of late frost and heavy rain and wind, the bulbs in the pots in our yard are sometimes bowed down, but with a sunny day, the daffodils are standing proud!

  6. I used to post on Bloglovin each A to Z day as well as here and on my Facebook feed - but Bloglovin has changed so has anybody got any ideas for other places to promote the challenge and my blog in particular?

  7. 🌈 That is beautiful. So is the fact that we're 20 blogs away from surpassing last year's sign-up number! The resilience of our bloghop!!!

  8. Yes, there is beauty in the resilience of nature. I'd think particularly of plants. They spring back into life, spread into apparently barren areas and recover from damage (at least sometimes!).

  10. The resilience of a rainbow is refreshing. The beauty of being yourself and breaking away from your youth is also worth watching.

  12. Howdy all,
Rainbows are God's reminder of His promise (Genesis 9:13). Sometimes we don't know how resilient we are, we forget and just need a little reminder. Be blessed or eat bread but either way, have a great day.
    Cheers,

  15. Beauty in Resilience...I get it. It reminds me of both my late husband and my current husband. No matter what was/is tossed at them, they continued on, savoring every moment of life.

  16. Nicely said. I can find beauty in just about anything. It's all a matter of perspective. If giving up seems like the right thing to do then maybe it's a way to go, but I think the resilience of hanging on until a completion has been achieved is more admirable.
