It's Fondue Month!
I love fondue. There's a restaurant we like to go to called The Melting Pot. When one opened within an hour of my house, I knew it would be my go-to celebration location! It's expensive, but it's worth the experience. From dipping fruit and veggies and bread into cheese, to delicious salads, to cooking meat and veggies in the fondue pot, to dipping decadent desserts into delicious chocolate, it's always a good time!
What is your favorite food experience? Tell us in the comments!
Also, if you haven't started thinking of your A to Z Blog theme, April is just around the corner!

Another Melting Pot fan here. We went on Valentine’s Day. Expensive but worth it.
ReplyDeleteI must admit I don't see myself as a foodie. But I do enjoy good food. Most of them are very Indian or even south Indian. Like, wheat dosa or a typical Kerala-style vegetarian meal.

I like fondue - not very readily available where I am at though. Thanks for the reminder - April is indeed not as far as we think...
ReplyDeleteMy favorite food experience is going to a restaurant. As far as the challenge, I've been thinking about it and have come up with a theme already.
ReplyDeleteWe are Melting Pot enthusiasts, nay, Professionals, here. At least 8 times a year. Here are our Pro tips for couples:
ReplyDelete1. Order for ONE on the A la carte menu. (This the most important tip!)
Fondue is a slow dinner. You will fill up. A couple that orders the Big Night Out (for two) will "roll themselves out of the restaurant." Some special nights require one order for two, but most nights are not... avoid Valentine's Day!)
2. Split the salad.
3. The entree has endless veggies. Ask for your favorite at the beginning.
4. Bottle of wine (glasses are pricey); our MP has a $20 bottle selection at the door and we always pick one.
5. The dessert has endless dippers. Get your favorites.
Between the endless veggies and the dippers for the entree and dessert... You'll stuff yourselves. And it's half or 2/3s what you would have paid ordering for two.
