Pre-March Sign-up Blast for #atozchallenge

We're trying to hit 1000 sign-ups by March 1st, which is next Thursday.  Please make an announcement on your blog to encourage your readers to join us in the A to Z Challenge.   If you have any special connection to bloggers who haven't signed up yet, send them an email to let them in on the April fun and ask them if they'd like to be a part of it.  This week we're counting on all of you to boost the numbers.   Can you help?

Hi Lee. Sorry to cause you extra work, but I've decided I'll be unable to participate in the challenge this year, as I'll be traveling overseas during the first week of April. Thought I better have you remove my name from the list now before people start following fellow challengers in earnest. Think I'm on the list at #117.

Thanks, and I do apologize. I'll still be giving the A to Z a shout-out on my blog, however. :)

Don't do it LG, don't do it! You can schedule the first seven or eight and join the fun when you get back. They post automatically for you while you are away.

L.G. -- Ron's right. Just the first week? Preschedule your posts and it will be fine. There will still be plenty of commenting action going on during that first week to cover for you and you can get back in the swing when you get back.

Thanks Ron for the encouragement.

Well, all righty then. I'll do it, but I take no responsibility for the lameness of that week's posts. :PP

Oh, heck yes. Consider it done.

Yes, sir, will do. Gave a pitch today and will do another this weekend.

Will do. Or rather, continue to do. I've been making it a game to see how I can sneak in a mention of the A-Z with every post I've done since sign-ups opened. I like the idea of the email to followers and bloggy friends. I know many of my followers/blogs I follow have all signed up. Still trying to getAmanda @ House Revivalsto give us a shout out...she's got almost 1000 followers.

Hey Lee and Ron...great encouragement you've given L.G. to stay the course.

L.G. - I'm glad you're not throwing in the towel. It wouldn't be the same without you. Ever since I learned about the "scheduling functions" I'm on easy street.

Over at my place I'm having a bit of a give-away for my Followers of Note while we play a little TAG! Drop by and have some fun.

I posted "The A to Z of Everything" the other day! I hope bloggers are signing up in droves. Now I just need to figure out how to read as many blogs as humanly possible!

Thanks to everyone who is helping us out! You are the reason for the success of the Challenge.
