Our team theme this
month is “Aspirations: Blogging hopes, dreams, and goals”.
Why do you blog?
Personally, I blog to share the knowledge I’ve gained through trial-and-error, researching my
favourite topics, and whatever else I think others might be interested in. I
keep to writing/publishing advice, folklore, and book reviews.
The knowledge I
share is something others find of value (at least, according to my blog’s
stats). One of my blogging hopes is
that the knowledge I have, however
obscure or niche, will find its audience.
Why do you blog? What
knowledge do you share with others?

ReplyDeleteFor this challenge I am sharing my knowledge of spoken English. One of my most popular earlier posts on my blog is about knitting. https://suestrifles.wordpress.com/2026/04/13/homophones-beginning-with-k-atozchallenge/

ReplyDeleteHi Ronel,
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but my link didn't post correctly prior...must be because I've not had coffee yet. Better get some. Any hoot what I said is we all blog for different reasons and we all have a little bit of different knowledge to share. Today I'm sharing about Kindness because I think the world is short on it.
Cheers,
Barbie
Hello Uncle J. I blog because it’s Tradition. George started our blog to let people and other pets know about our world. And we’re spreading Knowledge, too!

I blog because I like to laugh. I blog about history because I like to learn and share that with others. I twist history with a bit (or more) of snark because of the first sentence.
ReplyDeleteI also share knowledge that I've gained. Whether, they are useful or not, it didn't matter. Sometimes you just want to share certain things even if they aren't anything worth knowing. I think it's other people's experiences that are knowledge that are things that are worth learning.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
Knowledge is as varied as its sources... and there are few sources like the depths of the sea.

It's been a few years since I've don'e the A2Z challenge, I'm happy to be back. I blog/write for many reasons. One of them is that I find its a way to wander my thoughts to make sense of what I'm feeling. .
ReplyDeleteMy old blog, which I accidently deleted last year, was mostly gardening, and a few posts got a lot of comments on how I'd helped people with the very issue I wrote about. Now, it's mostly fun stuff, and I do research my thrift store items, so I get the knowledge, and I post what I've found out.
