I didn't do a very good job in meeting my Road Trip Deadline. I was sure I could post on July 1, but I was so jet lagged that I wound up face in pillow instead.
However. I'll make some amends by showing you a great game for road trips. Remember that was one of my promises for the summer. I found this game in Ireland and brought it home. This would be a great way to keep you and the kids occupied and happy. It kept my friend and me very happy during our flight.
You roll the dice, the images are your route to a story you create. Simple and fun. All you need is pie tin or other way to keep the dice from spilling and you've got several hours of fun.
Happy Road Trip. Are you thinking about what your AtoZ Theme will be next year?

Hi Lee - welcome back .. head in pillow .. sounds like a much needed shut eye. Looking forward to your posts re your visit ... that game sounds brilliant and such fun ... thanks for telling us about it .. cheers Hilary
Am I thinking about an AtoZ Theme for next year? Yes.
The emphasis is on the word 'THINKING'. I've just about recovered from this years challenge.
I've seen that story cube game around the net. Always wondered what it was all about...
I can't complain, as my road trip has gotten sidelined of late. Seems I ran out of gas. I have several possibilities for next year's theme, but not any where near ready to commit to one. I will take it seriously come next January.
Life & Faith in Caneyhead
I've done that a few times since July 1st and no big road trip was involved. Enjoy your trip.
Great post Lee, and yes, welcome back, you were truly missed.
That sounds really cool! But we don't take road trips anymore. :( I'll have to take my own when I have a car!
If I do it next year, I have no idea on what. lol Maybe I'll be published by then, and I'll do it on my book.
We're giving it the real test this weekend with the kids. They're hard to satisfy, so fingers crossed.
I'm on fumes as I write this, so I can relate.
Summer's a good time let go, isn't it?
You're so sweet. Thank you Yvonne.
Think of all the money you're saving not owning a car!
I love that game!! I have it sitting on my desk :)
