This year I'll be doing Pre-1920s Films, showcasing the best from very early cinema. Can't wait to share with you all.

Also looking forward to seeing everyone else's themes for 2021 and getting to see some more movie review blogs!

Hello from Switzerland - this is going to be my 7th time participating. For 2021 I chose to use saying, quotes and idioms and make them come to live.

This makes year seven, and I'm back with another movie-based theme: "Movies Reflect Human Needs"

Ever since deciding that would be my theme for this year, I've been watching movies galore, gathering examples to use in my posts. As always, I look forward to the movies readers will share that go along with the daily topics, too!

I crumbled after months of saying to myself that I was just going to sit this one out. A good friend gently nudge me to play along, so here I am taking part for the 8th year. I might need to color my hair after this is over. That is if I have any left to color. lol

Hi, this would be my first time joining. Is it necessary to have a theme? And how long to posts have to be?

Thanks.

Frewin55 said...

It is not necessary to have a theme or even to post an alphabetical subject - as long as you make 26 posts - however alphabetical posts act like writing prompts - whatever your theme, or lack of it, might be...

I'm so happy to rediscover the A-Z Challenge! It's been several years since I participated and I'm not sure if I will this year, but I'm excited to read the other participants posts. There's some great themes out there this year!

Best of luck to everyone,
Jen

Some great sounding themes for this year's challenge. I have opted for the topical "Life in Lockdown - A Personal Account" - from Anticipation to Zoom. As a family historian we enjoy writing about our ancestors, and memories of our own childhood, but what about recording our everyday life as a picture for future generations? It won't all be doom and gloom!

Jamie Ghione said...

OK, I'm doinghtis. My theme will be "My Life in 2020." I have been recapping this one year later in recent posts, so I feel this would be good one to use for A to Z. I have pondered doing this blogging challenge for years, having seen others doing it. Trying to find a them is hard as there are so many I could think of, and some letters of the alphabet can be tricky.

I last did this challenge in 2017. Looking forward to taking it on again. My theme: short alliterative poetry. Sort of.
