January is National 'Be On-Purpose' month. It's a reminder of the importance of intentional living. Living with purpose doesn't just happen. Good intentions and goals need to be put into action.
It's recommended that those who desire to succeed start by defining what success looks like to them, then making a plan to achieve that success, and then having a backup plan in case everything goes wrong, and finally, putting a support system in place (such as a friend who is encouraging and checks on progress, perhaps even brainstorms with them if they get stuck).
How could you create positive change to achieve your blogging goals this year? What good intentions can you put into action to meet those goals? Perhaps, reevaluate the purpose of your blog to see if you're setting yourself up for success. Knowing your purpose can help motivate you to create new and interesting posts. ReplyDeleteBlogging goals... Here's where I admit I'm just here to see my online friends. Haha! I used to have blogging goals. I used to promote authors. These days, I'm so wrapped up in what's happening on the other side of life that there's not much time for the blog. Maybe one day.
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about and planning for the A-Z blogging Challenge and wondering how to make more time to write year round instead of just during the challenge. The struggle is real my friend.
ReplyDeleteMy blog doesn't have a purpose as such, and I've never had goals beyond posting specific topics on specific days of the week. Benefits? I enjoy it. I enjoy sharing, and reading what others share. I want it to stay fun, not turn into a chore. Benefiting the world? That's a lot pressure! It's enough to keep up on visiting bloggers that have commented on my posts, any more would be overwhelming!
