28 weeks until the 2016 Challenge. Have you thought about your A to Z posts yet?

It seems like a long time from now, doesn't it?

More than half a year. 28 weeks. 195 days.

But, how many of us said we wished we'd been MORE prepared for the A to Z Challenge?

Admit it. Almost all of us.

So, why not start thinking about it now?

With 28 weeks ahead of us, we have plenty of time to plan.
Now, what to plan?

There are so many things.

These categories might get your blog ideas flowing.

If this list doesn't do it for you, then maybe you could start your own list.

What do you like to do?
What do you like to talk about? Read about?
What are your favorite things about where you live?
What subjects are you interested in?
What do you want others to know about you?
Why do gnomes wear hats?

You get the idea!

It's never too early to start thinking about your A to Z posts.

Hi Heather - what a great post ... and yes I've decided on next year's theme etc .. but I love the way you've set this out ... such fun - and I see lots of A-Z ideas around the world I inhabit ...

Wonderful - cheers Hilary

I actually have! I'll probably do something Final Fantasy related, since I mention it often on my blog. lol

Thanks for the reminder! I've been trying to come up with a theme, but haven't settled on one yet. The ideas just aren't flowing. Maybe this will help.

I do have an idea and am already starting to gather photos for it :)

Great post Heather if it's only 28 weeks to the challenge Christmas must be nearer.

When put this way, the 2016 challenge seems very close! I must get my thinking cap on!

Clever post! I will organize my thoughts after Christmas. After all, we have to get through the Republic and Democrat Conventions, watch Hillary tap dance, and watch endless political commercials. But April will come, and I will be ready.

There's a good chance I'll go with my 100 word flash fiction again next year. Unless a new idea hits me.

I've already decided my theme and found all the letters but Y. But I'll get there.
Next year I want to be a good blogger and have everythign ready for the start of the challenge. Let's see...

Heather, I have my theme picked out and I'm identifying topics for each letter. Never to early to plan for A to Z.

I'm glad I'm not the only one planning so far ahead. I have all my photos except one, which I should take soon. The subject of the last photo is indoors, so it doesn't seem urgent. Some of the others had to be taken when I had the chance. Sue

Oh yes I think I have my theme in mind but won't reveal until you know when.

In the meantime, I will be doing a Countdown to Christmas - celebrating kitsch.

I've actually given some thought to doing it again after a one year hiatus. I got an idea percolating but it involves reorganizing my massive (to me at least) c.d. collection.

That's awesome, Hilary!
There are lots of ideas out there, we just have to find one that we love!

Heather M. Gardner said...

That's how its done!
Using a theme we already post info about!

Heather M. Gardner said...

They will come!
Just keep looking around. Something will POP!

Heather M. Gardner said...

I always think I should start taking photos this early, but I never remember!

Heather M. Gardner said...

Don't be a stranger in 2016, come visit!
We look forward to your awesome theme for 2017!

Heather M. Gardner said...

I hate that word. :)

That could be a theme. Holidays we hate!

Heather M. Gardner said...

Yes! We all need to find and wear our thinking caps!
Some of us might need a thinking helmet!

Heather M. Gardner said...

That's why we watch all TV through our DVR after September. When you fast forward through the commercials life is less stressful.

Heather M. Gardner said...

That works, Patricia!
You already have a leg up!

Heather M. Gardner said...

That is an excellent plan! I love your enthusiasm!

Heather M. Gardner said...

That's right, Stephen!
You are on the right track!

Heather M. Gardner said...

That is awesome! I would say you are in the lead!
Good on ya!

Heather M. Gardner said...

That's cool!
Understood. It's okay to keep it under wraps!

What I hear you saying is that you can't wait to get reacquainted will all your music!

Looking forward to reading those posts!

As a writer, my blog is mostly for (ready for this?) writing. Though I have been doing book reviews this year, too.

But I've always hoped someone would do an A to Z of muscle cars. Or extreme sports. Or the forest.

I have a few ideas rolling around in my head for this year. It'll be a matter of fleshing one out.
