D is for Dreams #AtoZChallenge

MASTER LIST

This is the last day to sign up for the A to Z Challenge! Be sure to do so today if you haven't already! (Directions are on our post!)

Our team theme this month is “Aspirations: Blogging hopes, dreams, and goals”.

What do you dream of?

I have always had aspirations (or dreams, if you will). But if you asked what I dreamed my life would be like as a child, it certainly is not how it turned out. Heck, the same thing is true if you asked me just 6 years ago. But what's important are two things:

1) I am happy with how my life is going.
2) I am still dreaming of how I want my life to go and working toward those goals.

So tell us: what do you dream of?

  1. I agree with all points that you have written.

I am also very happy with my achievements so far. The joys I enjoyed and the difficulties I endured. I thank God and all persons in my life who made it possible to have this happiness now. I am also working toward some goal or other. I am learning a complete new area of soteriology, science of salvation now, termed Advait in Hindu religious thought.

  4. We all have dreams...and it's true...our dreams change as we grow older. Of course when I was a little girl I always dream of a Unicorn over the rainbow. Still trying to find that Unicorn and the end of the rainbow. Dreams are good. It's all in the Determination
    Cheers,

  5. What is a dream but a deception and an illusion? With you, the six-legged mirage...

  6. How do I know that I'm actually signed up for the challenge? I've submitted that form two but my blog never showed up on the spread sheet. I've been writing the daily posts (which) I'm excited about by and commenting on other blogs but I can't find the place where the 'no' choice can be turned to a yes.

    1. I can see your blog on the list of people signed up. You can find the list here: MASTER LIST https://tinyurl.com/mu5vjy48 and there is a "comment" column on it that you can use to keep track of the blogs you visit. Hope this helps.

  7. I've signed up and have commented on several blogs I never knew existed! Thanks for doing this. It's my first year and I'm loving.

What do I dream of? World peace. Yet I know it won't happen until all embrace the One who is Peace and one day He will reign! My dream is that all people will be compassionate to all......to love their neighbor as they themselves wanna be loved. A dream......for a kinder, better nation beginning with kinder, better leaders.

  9. I’m old and just hope the world begins to heal for my children and grandchildren. It seems a very distant dream at the moment…

  10. I dream of not being spoken of in the past tense when my grandkids graduate high school.
    I'm 67.
    They're 3 and 1.
    Fingers crossed.

  11. I dream of being settled and being able to write and travel full time, to fund some mental health projects locally and to feel like I'm useful to my family. Disability slows me down, a lot, but I'm working on it.
