Good morning. I seriously hope that my blog has that effect/affect (I always get those two mixed up and right now I want coffee and I'm too lazy to look up the difference—Hey, I'm honest.) on people to come and visit my blog. I can say I yearn for the traffic and comments and followers to stay. I guess we all do. My post is easy today.... When you say you are going to do it, do it. A simple Yes will do.

Second comment! Let me introduce you to the gelid heart of the snowstorm: "Y" is for Yeti.

I used 'yearning for my word prompt today as well. But I took a less serious tone and yearned for things like a place to check out puppies like library books. This was my first time taking part in the A to Z Challenge and I covered every single letter plus I have my Z post ready to go. It's been fun and I've discovered a few new blogs I will follow when this is over. Thank you to those of you who sponsored this event.
ReplyDeleteI am not yearning for the next A to Z! I am so glad this one is finally over. Whew! Writing as I go is too stressful. Even though I like to have people read and comment on my blog, I'm not yearning for it and I wouldn't change what I blog about to attract more people. I blog more to organize material I have gathered.
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm Yearning for next year's challenge, but I need to do plenty of research and writing in time for it. https://suestrifles.wordpress.com/2026/04/29/homophones-beginning-with-y-atozchallenge/
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't say I'm "yearning," but I am already thinking of ideas, even as I am glad it's nearly over and I can get back to my normal schedule! I'm not in it for the reads or followers, so I'm not going to switch anything up. My regulars are regular.
ReplyDeleteI would hope people return for more of whatever it is Penwasser Place has to offer. To help bring more readership in, I've cut down on the length of each post and included more pictures. This was done because I think most folks don't have a whole lot of time or patience to wade through paragraphs. Also, rather than four or five times a week, I've cut down to one or two posts a week.
ReplyDeleteAnd, yes, I'm looking forward to next year's challenge.
I've always got a yearning for something :-) @samanthabwriter from
