Our team theme this year is our blogging community, gratitude, or being grateful for our blogging community.

As another year of the A-Z Blogging Challenge kicks off, I have a deep appreciation of what this community and challenge has brought to my online life. The first year I did this challenge (2016), I had only been blogging for a couple of months and needed inspiration about what to blog about and the encouragement to keep at it – I found both in this blogging community.

Over the years, my blogging style has changed, what I blog about has changed, I’ve even moved from a free site to my own website – but what hasn’t changed is the support the month of April brings. I’ve found many of my online friends through this challenge and I greatly appreciate them.

Theme Reveal #AtoZChallenge2025

A to Z Challenge Theme Reveal!

We are excited to officially announce our theme for the 2025 A to Z Blog Challenge! If you read our schedule post, you may have noticed that our posts are going to center around gratitude and our blogging community. We are grateful for all of you, whether you're joining us for the 15th time or the 1st time!
This is an optional pre-challenge blog hop, where you can submit the link to your Theme Reveal post on this Google Form for others to find. You can find the list of all posts by clicking here.
We recommend that you make a copy of the Google Sheet once the Theme Reveal closes on March 15th, but you can start hopping to other blogs right now! If you make a copy, you can change the column that says no to yes for all the blogs you visit. It's an easy way to keep track of which blogs you've visited! You can also sort and filter when you have your own copy of the Google Sheet.
The one that matters most, the official sign up, will begin on March 24th and end on April 5th, so be sure to come back in that window and sign up! We'll have two bonus blog hops in May, so don't go anywhere! We're excited to see what you have to share with our blogging community this April!

The theme for the A to Z Theme on this blog for 2025 will be posts about our blogging community, gratitude, or being grateful for our blogging community. 

Time For The A to Z Road Trip!

It's time for the Post A to Z Road Trip 2024! This is a great opportunity to catch up on the many blogs you would have liked to have spent more time visiting, but didn't during the Challenge, and a chance to visit the blogs of people who did the Challenge that you never got to. And, if you're one of those people who did the Challenge but didn't get a lot of visitors, this is a way to let people know that you'd appreciate a visit.

Here's what you do:

1. Sign up for the Road Trip. There's a place where you can put in the URL of a post that you would like visitors to read first. Then, grab a copy of the Road Trip badge from the graphics page (if you want) for your home page to use as a "bumper sticker."
2. Get copies of both the Road Trip List and the Master List. Both will be useful.
3. Start with the Road Trip list and visit the blogs of the people who signed up there. Take some time to read their blog and their Challenge entries. Leave comments where you feel led to do so, and make sure you identify yourself as a Road Trip participant. Leave a link to your blog so they can return the favor.
4. Then, if you have the time and inclination to do so, visit some of the blogs on the Master List that you didn't get the chance to visit. Even if they didn't sign up for the Road Trip, I'm sure they'd appreciate a visit.

Signups start today and end May 25. There's no set time limit to the Road Trip (i.e. no specific end date), so if you wanted to, you could visit everyone who was part of this year's Challenge between now and the start of next year's Challenge. If that's what you want to do, go for it! Most importantly, have fun!
