Feasibility #AtoZChallenge

The team decided our theme for this month's posts here would be a take "2020 visions of blogging." This set of weekday posts focuses on:
Memories from Blogging in the Past

Feasibility of Blogging

When I first heard of the A to Z Blog Challenge, I thought it would be insane for me to try to participate in such an activity. It was not feasible! Not in the least!

Why?

Because I didn’t have a blog.

So on March 5th, 2015, I created a blog. I made three posts, and then dove headfirst into the A to Z Blog Challenge. I have made some internet friends who have been an incredible inspiration through blogging. And now, five years later, my blog still gets the most hits during the A to Z Blog Challenge.

Bar graph depicting blog hits for Jayden's blog. April's bars are much higher than the other months.
See those tall lines? That's April.

I will be forever grateful for the interaction with other bloggers, and I am awed that I get to be part of the team to help bring it out to all of you. Without this community, it would not be feasible for me to keep blogging year around.

What makes blogging feasible for you?

Being retired and being home most of the time made blogging much more feasible. I tried when I was working and it just never worked oit.

I've been trying to connect the slected word with mine, but this one is really hard! Oh, wait... I know. No, no, I don't.

I agree with John, working from home makes it much more feasible than trying to find a moment in between commuting and dealing with co-workers/bosses in person. Now that I no longer work (due to my health) I struggle to find energy to post - but blogging is what keeps me going. The friendships I have made, and the thought that I have so much more that I need to share before I call it quits for good.

I love to stay in touch with community friends, so blogging is a way to chat with them, but also to record what I'm making. It keeps me going.

Having my own laptop and enough time makes blogging feasible for me. Now is the challenge in my F post feasible for you? https://suestrifles.wordpress.com/2020/04/07/f-is-for-father-forgive-them-and-friends/

Blogging has been a big part of my life for the past ten years or so.

Writing my blog posts makes me a better writer. Trusting the words will come is part of why blogging is still so essential in my life.

And I am still going strong with the A to Z challenge! Today I blog about The Fool in Tarot.

I'm sort of retired and spend a lot of time at home. Blogging keeps me connected.

I like sharing my love of folklore and writing with others, so blogging is a great way to do that.

I made blogging part of daily employment work. As a professor, this activity today makes me happy. I am now able to share my notes with many. A to Z 2020 posts of mine in industrial engineering are getting appreciated by industrial engineers every day.

Blogging keeps me writing, gives me deadlines and structure. This is what I need to keep writing.

Blogging is feasible for me because I have one post that I do every week -- that's enough structure to keep my blog going. It sure is fun in April when A to Z challenges me to write a lot more posts!

My blog is feasible because I like writing. It is that simple.

Today from Letter F, I wrote about foolishness. Read a funny and foolish adventure of mine in the lockdown titled Foolishness in Lockdown

One word...Naptime! After getting caught up with the household/ work/paperwork, it's nice to have some adult interaction even if it's just online. I have found a wonderful set of friends and a great outlet to use in this daily spare time I've been dealt. Definitely feasible!

Feasible is a good word, I've tried a couple of times and not made it through to the end. Trying to be more disciplined. Today for F we have a fish recipe.

I post my write up mostly for myself and in the process if someone connects with me i am very happy. I try my best to keep at 4 posts a month. Blogging for me is a diversion, as otherwise I am full time working in the university, I get to do something different, to inspire and be inspired.

Expressing myself, getting to know co-bloggers who share the same thinking and getting to read good material make blogging feasible for me.

I used to Blog a lot in the past, but I have more things to do now I have retired . . . . Not sure that was meant to happen.

I enjoy the A to Z and have completed it a few times now. There was a time I would sneak another one in during the year, but not now. I hope everyone has a great time getting to the letter Z. Good Luck

I created a blog, years ago as a public journal. I personally thought it was never feasible to keep a disciplined habit of posting everyday. Here I am trying my best even now.
