S is for Saturday #AtoZChallenge

#AtoZChallenge 2018 S

My favorite thing to do on a Saturday is to sleep in. In a perfect world, I would sleep until my body naturally woke me up, and then I would write. I can just pictures myself type type typing away in my cool quiet bedroom with no distractions. Unfortunately, that is hardly ever possible. So instead, I fit writing in wherever I can. Ten minutes before work. Five minutes before the kids come home. Late at night after everyone else is asleep.

That's how I know that writing is my passion. It's the first thing I think of when I wake up, and the last thing I think of before I sleep. Most of the time, anyway.

What is your passion? How do you know?

my passions - music, art and writing the three come in handy with children especially in Uganda when I often find all I have is a pencil, paper and my vocal chords.
Cheers and thanks for hosting today!

Thank you for hosting today. Lovely idea to talk about passions. My passion is writing, like yours. I have various sub passions that sometimes take on a life of their own - right now its photography. It used to be singing. At one time it was dancing.

Thought provoking article. We all have to snatch time for our passion ... mine is art and I feel its my calling because it gives me peace.

Do stop by my #AtoZChallenge post for S and share your thoughts:

Typically, we like sleeping in on Saturdays, too. My passion presently is sketching. Ever since last April I've been happily drawing something new. It's a fun hobby but I'm not sure if it'll go anywhere beyond my joy and if doesn't then that's okay. Thanks for co-hosting the A2Z fun!

Saturdays are made for my passion...first a little journal writing, and then a day spent in the kitchen. How about a little Strata to start the day?

What a coincidence, we have written about Sound Sleep for letter S :))

My passions are reading, writing and gaming - in any order. If that why my A to Z is on Gaming origins, I'm reading a book that spawned a game and writing the post for that? (I'm tackling my W today?

It's why I'm not sleeping in on a Saturday - well, in fact since I retired, the working week has been transmogrified into a juggling act. I juggle days to create chunks of time to concentrate when my health co-operates. The truth is that I can't write in short bursts but need a few hours at a time.

Oh, and today's post:
