C is for Card Trick

C is for Card Trick

I have always been fascinated by card tricks. I learned a couple as a kid that have stuck with me, but in honor of our A to Z theme, I thought learning a card trick would be a fun game to play. I'll be sure to impress the few people I can show it to! But, I assure you that it's a beginner level card trick and you should give it a try!

Now that you've learned something fun, a few reminders on behalf of the A to Z Team:

Happy Blogging!

I know one card trick I learned as a child. It involves laying out 20 cards and asking someone to pick one, then immediately showing them a card of the same value.

I apologise for playing fast and loose with the Alphabet - but like a deck of cards, I have had to shuffle the letters about to match certain themes to particular chapters I am publishing it will all come right in a few days time - I beg not to be drummed out of the Challenge...

I was always fond of playing Cribbage with Cards. Might have to try learning that card trick for the next game.

My family is big on card games. I have vague memories of uncles doing card tricks as well.

Very cool! Love card tricks. We used to keep the kids entertained for a long time with them--first amazing them, then showing them how to do the trick.

Happy A to Z Day 3!

Our son was fascinated with card tricks when he was younger. His uncle and aunt got him a VHS tape showing how to do them one Christmas. He actually got a few of them done quite well. :)

My next edition in my Looney Tunes Art Sketch series is live. Swing by to check out, Cecil Turtle on Curious as a Cathy.

Card tricks are simply a great way to pass time on long train journeys or to impress people at parties. I love card tricks too and used to be pretty good at them when I was younger. Will try yours and see if my grandchildren are gobsmacked

I'm lucky if I can shuffle the deck without making the cards fly all over the table... not sure how I'd do with a card trick!

For the letter C, I discussed a few movies with characters who use creativity.

I have tried a few and had been successfull, but then life took over and the cards got lost in the chaos. Or it could be mobile games... LOL
