Just the prescription...for clearing your mind

Hello there!
Join me, Jenny Pearson, co-host of the upcoming A to Z Challenge, for a relaxing walkabout!
Before we begin...I want to welcome any and all newcomers - are you looking for answers to your A to Z questions? Please visit our FAQ Tab - you are sure to find answers to all your questions there! If you’re still stumped visit our Contact Tab and fire off a question to us...we are here to help!
Now, about this walkabout
Are you feeling topped up with all the information on the Who, What, Where, When, Why and How of this Challenge?
I hope so...because this post in NOT about any of that. It’s about sitting back, enjoying a little West Coast scenery and letting your mind clear as we start the countdown to when the FUN really begins - April 1st.
In a matter of six days we will all be showcasing our thoughts, ideas, stories, pictures, and whatever else is hiding up our sleeves in the upcoming third annual A to Z Challenge.

To that end...I went for a walkabout and in the fresh, crisp air of a glorious day I was able to relax and clear my mind.
Come join me - it’s what the Challenge Doctor has prescribed.  (click on any picture to enlarge)

I’m please to announce all my posts are ready for the Challenge. I  would like to invite each of you to visit, during the Challenge, and enjoy what I have written, just for you.
In approximately 4,000 words, divided into 26 parts I have told a tragic tale, which will be posted in its entirety on May 1st. Each letter is featured extensively in its corresponding post.
I had incredible fun with my choice for this year's Challenge...and, suffice it to say, I found it very challenging indeed! Hence the need for many wonderful walkabouts, like this one!
Now...we will have no more stressing, if you are new and have just signed up, the fun for you will be to enjoy the spontaneity of each day’s letter...remember, just have fun!
I am looking forward to visiting you!

Happy Blogging

  5. Thanks for the get-away. I was in Vancouver for the World's Fair in the mid-1980s and loved it there. I may have gone a time or two more but that decade all kind of runs together.

  7. I LOVE BRITISH COLUMBIA!!!! Although I must say I'm more partial to my beloved Victoria than Vancouver, but north Vancouver rocks.

  10. Thanks, Jenny, I needed that. I'm sad to say that I've lost everything. I've been carrying around a notebook ever since I given the honor of co-hosting. This notebook has all my notes, all the words I'm doing (and with their exact Swedish definitions), notes about what that post is to emphasize, and which picture I was going to use (these were taken out of my photo albums from my childhood and put in one of those sleeves that have the three hole punch.) CAN'T FIND IT. I'm heartbroken and trying to not have a total breakdown. I'm putting all of this in my comment because I need your help. Please, whatever your faith and your communication with God, please pray with me that I find this.
Jenny, what a beautiful place you live in. Thanks for sharing it with us. It was exactly what I needed today.

  12. Looking forward to your tragic story. What a great idea to do chapters which could turn into a book. As I browse through the blogs on this site, I am amazed by the creative talent out there and am a little apprehensive about my own writing.

  14. You sure know how to keep readers coming back for more! I am definitely interested to see how you tell this tragic tale in such a way that corresponds with each letter of the alphabet. It sorta reminds me of Prime Time Television, like those "Desperate Housewives" episodes on ABC where they leave viewers with a cliffhanger for the following week's episode.

If you're wondering, no I'm not a huge "Desperate Housewives" fan, lol. I'm more of a "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" gal! ;)

From the looks of those pictures, I may need a new doctor. I'll take your prescription any day of the week!

Cheers to you for completing all of your posts for April. I'm still working my way through the first half and am only up to H.

  16. Thanks you, EVERYONE, for dropping by and sharing a little West Coast walkabout with me.

My apologies for this blanket comment...I spent a few to many hours tweaking my A-Z posts (to be true to my statement that I am done) and suddenly I find the day has drifted by.

I look forward to seeing you all during the Challenge!

  18. This is a new challenge for me - I think it'll be fun. I try to schedule my posts a few days in advance, but 26? WOW! That would be areal stretch for me. I like the idea of getting around too visit a lot of other people's creations, musings etc.

April is shaping up to be a very interesting month.
